The online sportsbook and casino, 22Bet, has just announced the acquisition of a UK gambling license, which will see it expand operations into the United Kingdom and earn a share of one of Europe’s most lucrative gambling markets.

    22Bet in the UK

The online gambling company used an official press release to announce their acquisition of this important license and to describe its intentions with regards to how this license will be used.

They will operate from the 22Bet.co.uk domain, where a complete, bespoke gambling site will await players across the United Kingdom. This site will feature all the usual offerings, including poker, bingo, casino games and more. They will also offer a wealth of sports betting markets, including everything from entertainment and TV, to politics, eSports, and more.

    Mobile Friendly

22Bet.co.uk will be mobile friendly and will offer a wealth of unique features, including a selection of “Wheel of Fortune” type games, a wealth of previews and tips on major sports, and more. The press release also hinted at a few of the markets that will be available to players on this casino, including betting on the names of royal babies and even staking money on certain outcomes on the Game of Thrones TV show.

22Bet will include markets on a wide range of local and international sports and leagues, from lower tier football matches in the United Kingdom right on through to domestic cricket leagues in India and Australia.

They went on to comment on how the UK gambling market is noted for having some of the strictest regulations in the world, which has led to the creation of some of the best online betting sites on the continent. These sites are forced to abide by tight regulations and to be at their very best all of the time, something that these sites, and 22Bet, will take pride in.

A spokesperson for 22Bet noted how the brand is already “one of the biggest sports bookmakers in Kenya” and has decided to branch out into the UK, creating a tailored website that will match the needs of players in this country.

They also claimed to have spent even more time working on special security features and on meeting regulations with regards to deposits, withdrawals, customer service and responsible gambling, areas they typically focus on quite heavily but ones they have spent even more time on with their UK website.
