Betsoft Gaming Wins Innovation Award at EGR B2B 2019
The Malta-based developer, Betsoft Gaming, has added another accolade to its illustrious collection after claiming the Innovation in RNG Casino Software award at the 2019 EGR B2B awards. This is one of the most important events of the year for companies like Betsoft as it provides a showcase for their talent and awards them for their efforts during the previous 12 months.
The awards were held during a prestigious event at the Tower of London on June 25. It was Betsoft’s first ever EGR Award, despite their creative efforts and the huge respect they have garnered in this sector, and it was awarded to them for their game-changing creations, their creativity, and their devotion to creating original titles.
An esteemed panel of judges took many things into consideration when gifting Betsoft this prestigious award. In addition to their creativity and originality over the last 12 months, one of the main things that the judges looked at was Max Quest: Wrath of Ra, a Betsoft title that utilizes many of this brand’s best skills.
Max Quest: Wrath of Ra is much more than just a slot machine. It stands out from the crowd because it doesn’t feature a traditional setup, but rather focuses on an “all-action” setup that is 100% interactive. There are no reels or traditional symbols. There isn’t even a spin button.
Instead, players make their move by aiming crosshairs at the enemy and then pulling the trigger. If they hit their targets then they win coins, simple as that. Max Quest: Wrath of Ra puts players in the shoes of a band of hunters who have been confronted with a bunch of monsters with very bad intentions.
Max Quest: Wrath of Ra has been called a “one-of-a-kind” and “transformative” slot, with many predicting that it will take the online gambling industry in a new direction, leading developers down a road that they have yet to take and offering players an experience that feels more like an interactive mobile game than a traditional randomized slot.
Max Quest: Wrath of Ra was created using Betsoft’s SHIFT development platform, which means it looks just as good and plays just as well on mobile as it does on desktop.
Betsoft definitely earned their award and have done more than enough in the last 12 months to be deserving of such a prestigious accolade. However, they weren’t the only big name to be considered and several other brands went very close to taking the prestigious title ahead of them.
Some of the other iGaming giants that the judges considered included NetEnt, QuickSpin and Microgaming. Yggdrasil Gaming, who have had a very good year, were also considered, but in the end they walked away with the award for the RNG Casino Supplier of the Year, so they will still be very happy.
The RNG Casino Software award was the first that Betsoft have won at this particular event, but they have claimed many other awards in the past. They were recently awarded the Best Online Gambling Game Developer at the very first Corporate Vision Magazine Media Innovator Awards. Hosted in mid-June 2019, this award show praised companies like Betsoft for their continued efforts and their focus on originality and customer satisfaction.
Betsoft also picked up a big award at the G2E Asia Awards, which was held in May.
More to Come
The good news doesn’t stop there for Betsoft and for Betsoft fans. Just a few weeks ago they launched one of their best titles yet: Spinfinity Man, and this is due to be followed by Gold Canyon. These two titles will be part of Betsoft’s showcase during iGB Live!, which occurs between he 16sth and 19th of July at Amsterdam RAI.
