Relax Gaming Move into the French Poker Sector

The online poker industry is on fire right now and is one of the fastest-growing sectors in the gambling industry. Countless companies are trying to muscle their way into this sector to take advantage of this popularity, and following a recent deal with the Kindred Group, Relax Gaming Limited have just followed suit.

A Match Made in Poker Heaven

The Kindred Group are one of the biggest gambling brands in the world, if not the biggest. It’s the parent company of Unibet, 32Red, iGame and Maria Casino, and it generates around $1 billion in revenue every year.

It’s a big deal for Relax Gaming Limited and one that will see them expand into the French poker market. The iGaming brand is regulated in Malta, Alderney and the UK, and they have a significant presence across many countries, with France now added to that list.

They will begin rolling out their complete poker software suite to French players in the second quarter of 2019, and this will ensure that The Kindred Group remains a force to be reckoned with in the French poker market for at least another 5 years.

Both parties were clearly very excited by the move and eager to see how it would unfold. It also bodes well for poker players across France, a country that has traditionally taken a very hard-line on online gambling, despite many of its neighbouring countries taking the opposite approach.
