Remote Gaming Licenses Granted to Red Rake by the UK Gambling Commission

Spain’s Red Rake Gaming (Red Rake Tech Sociedad Limitada) has been granted a Remote Gambling Software License by the UK Gambling Commission. This means that Red Rake Gaming, established in 2011, is now able to offer its host of real-money titles to UK players.

Following extensive due diligence and games testing, the company was given a remote B2B Gambling Software license as well as a Game Host (casino) license.

An initial batch of games have been approved by the commission. These games were tested and certified according to strict technical standards, and another batch is already undergoing the rigorous certification process.

The company initially specialized in creating games for social casinos. In 2016, though, it entered the real money gaming market. The company has since grown to enjoy success in a range of markets including Romania, Portugal, Italy and Spain.

    Finding Red Rake Games

Players in the UK can look forward to finding these games available in a host of places. The acquisition of the license means that the games will enjoy exposure within online video slots, casino and bonus databases. Tunf, for example, offers a host of important information targeted toward players within the UK market.

Red Rake is also placing an emphasis upon industry trade shows. The company has increased its presence recently, and it will be at ICE Totally Gaming at ExCeL London this year. Interested parties will be able to find the company at stand N9-325 from 5th of February to 7th.

Nick Barr is the Managing Director of the Malta operations. He explained the importance of these new licenses.

Acquiring the licenses to operate in the UK market is a great step in our regulated strategy for 2019. It will have an immediate impact as many of our customers have UKGC licenses and they will be able now to offer our games to their UK player base."

We are also excited by the opportunities that the new license comes with and can proceed with many of the UK operators who have already requested our content. We are also very proud of obtaining the UKGC license as it is testimony of our commitment to responsible gaming and transparency of which the UKGC have the highest standards”.

The UK’s marketplace is one of the largest regulated marketplaces in the world. It also has some of the most robust infrastructure in terms of regulatory frameworks.
