Awards season proves successful for Scientific Games Corporation
American gaming machine and systems innovator, Scientific Games Corporation (SG), has announced that it walked away from last week’s Global Gaming Expo (G2E) with a bevy of prestigious Global Gaming Awards accolades including the Land-Based Industry Supplier of the Year prize.
Recognition for SG Digital
The Las Vegas-based firm used an official Tuesday press release (pdf) to detail that the October 8 ceremony held at the Sands Expo and Convention Center also saw its SG Digital division bag the Digital Industry Supplier of the Year honor while this subordinate’s OpenBet sportsbook platform was awarded with the Digital Product of the Year accolade.
Personal acknowledgment
SG Corporation stated that its OpenBet innovation additionally received the Best Interactive product prize from the co-located GGB Gaming and Technology Awards while its Vice-Chairman, Dick Haddrill, was simultaneously inducted into the American Gaming Association’s Gaming Hall of Fame.
