    Big New Jersey Announcement for Kindred Group

    The Kindred Group are one of the biggest brands in the iGaming sector, with casinos like Unibet and 32Red under their belt. They are a force to be reckoned with in Europe, Australia and Canada, and they are now looking to gain traction in the United States where online gambling and sports betting is experiencing a revolution.

    They recently used an official press release to announce the launch of, a New Jersey-facing casino that will give players in The Garden State a chance to place real money wagers on a range of sports.

    Big Name Brand

    Kindred Group, who are based in Malta, announced that the New Jersey casino will use technology developed by the innovative Kambi Group and Mazooma Incorporated, as well as the far-reaching Scientific Games, to cover all bases and ensure that NJ players have just as many options at their disposal as players across the Atlantic.

    The Kindred Group used to go by the name Unibet Group, before changing their name in 2016. They are one of the biggest iGaming brands in the United Kingdom and own several casinos and sports betting websites that are popular here, including the aforementioned 32Red and the historic Stan James. They also own and a few others.

    Breaking America

    This will be Kindred Group’s first foray into the New Jersey gambling market and it comes following a partnership that they signed with the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, the capital of gambling in The Garden State.

    The Vice President of Kindred US, who handle the group’s US operations, gave his thoughts on the recent launch, saying that the site represents a step forward in what he thinks will be “the largest betting market in the world”. That’s a big statement to make, but taking into account how popular online gambling is in relatively small countries like the UK and Australia, it’s fair to assume that it could become much bigger in the US, where there are well over 300 million people to target.

    The New Jersey launch won’t be the only move that Kindred Group make in the US. In fact, the VP added that they are already looking to other states, including the neighbouring Pennsylvania, a market they are hoping to move into following a partnership with Mohegan Sun Pocono.
