BtoBet to Increase Presence in Africa
BtoBet, a casino and sports betting developer, has just signed a deal that will see it become more of a force in the African gambling sector. The deal will allow it to supply its many gaming innovations to Innobet, an iGaming operator based in Uganda.
BtoBet used an official press release to announce this deal and to describe details of it. They said that the deal was in combination with its certified partner for Africa, STM Gaming, and that it will see Innobet become one of the latest additions to its partnership program.
The deal will extend its reach into Uganda, but more importantly it will give it a chance to appeal to new players across the continent and could lead to many similar deals in months and years to come. Africa has a growing iGaming sector, and while many countries have a strict view on gambling and online gambling in particular, others have either already embraced it or are preparing to do so.
BtoBet already have multiple partnerships across the continent, with a strong presence in countries such as Kenya and Nigeria, where they appeal to tens of millions of gamblers. They are also in smaller countries like Chad and Tanzania.
A spokesperson for the brand said that Africa was becoming “more appealing” to brands like BtoBet, as regulators make moves to license online gambling in all its forms. They added that their goal was to take advantage of these changes and to become one of the biggest names in the African iGaming sector, a goal they have already achieved in many regulated and soon-to-be-regulated markets.
