Gaming Innovation Group secures approval to operate in New Jersey
The Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) recently announced that it has secured full approval to operate in New Jersey. Having successful secured authorization from the State of New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE), GiG can now deliver real-money online casinos to operators throughout the state. Following the DGE application, GiG has been awarded a transactional waiver, which verifies that its platform is fully compliant with the DGE’s stringent rules. Gaining authorization to operate in New Jersey represents major progress in GiG’s broader strategy to become a prominent player in the heavily regulated United States market. Once the mandatory process has been completed, GiG will be awarded a full Casino Service Industry Enterprise Licence (CSIE).
Last February, GiG revealed that it had entered into a partnership agreement with Hard Rock International, by which it was contracted to provide its front-end development services and platform solution for Hard Rock’s first online casino, which is set to launch in late July.
Describing the developments, the CEO of GiG, Robin Reed, stated: “We are delighted to now be going live with Hard Rock in New Jersey, a first step in our mutually ambitious plans to take market share in the regulated online gambling market in the US.”
