MPN to host the UCOP again
The MPN (Microgaming Poker Network) have come back with one of the biggest names in Poker again. After four years of being the biggest tournament that Microgaming runs, the UCOP (Universal Championship of Poker) is returning for a fifth successive year. It is expected to be the biggest yet with €1 million on offer to players in prizes.
Information about the series
The UCOP is currently planned to last for two weeks, starting from the 15th of September, there will be a number of different ways to play in the tournament, with buy-ins starting at low amounts and moving up to more expensive levels. There are expected to be a huge number of different ways to advance in the tournament as well as a leaderboard contest with a big cash prize on offer!
Although the tournament as a whole will be starting on the 15th, the satellites for the tournament will be starting on the 1st of September. It will allow players with super low budgets the chance to earn a seat at the tournament proper. On the final day, players will be able to win one of at least 100 seats to the main event.
Once the final satellite is completed, the main event will start, which has a guaranteed prize fund of €100,000. Once the tournament is finished, there will also be another game played solely for high stakes players.
On top of all of this, the champion of the 2018 UCOP will also be entering in order to defend the championship he won last year. While he accepts it will be a difficult task to complete consecutive wins in the main event of the UCOP, he is hoping to get through and win as much of the guaranteed prize pot as he possibly can.
Leaderboard offers prizes as well
The leaderboard will also offer plenty of different opportunities to players. There will be cash prizes as well as different packages related to the Microgaming Poker Network.
