Quickspin have just announced its first ever progressive jackpot video slot, adding their names to one of the most popular genres in the online gambling industry. The slot in question is Dragon Chase and will offer players up to €100,000. It’s a five-reel, 20-payline slot that contains everything you’d expect to find on a Quickspin title, including great graphics and slick features.

    A Playtech Company

Quickspin is one of the biggest names in the iGaming sector, with several top titles in its expansive and eclectic roster. It was acquired by Playtech in 2016, giving it the backing of the world’s biggest iGaming brand, and since then it has rolled out a plethora of new features and new games, while also signing deals to showcase its online slots on countless more casinos.

2019 has been a particularly busy year for the brand as they have launched over half a dozen titles so far, with Dragon Chase being the 7th game in total despite this being only the 6th month of the year.

According to a spokesperson, Dragon Chase comes loaded with “several fantastic features” all of which are guaranteed to “create a unique and thrilling” experience for Quickspin’s many fans. The features include a re-spin that can lead to one of four jackpots, as well as a free spins feature and some big paying symbols.

The biggest payout is €100,000 and is activated infrequently; the smaller payout is €10,000 and is paid out with much greater frequency. The goal of this brand new progressive jackpot slot is to target a “wider range” of players, capturing a market that Quickspin had previously not been able to access.

There is huge support out there for progressive jackpot slots, with games like Mega Moolah generating millions of plays every single week, even though it is several years old and way behind the times in terms of graphics and features. In fact, Microgaming have built their empire off the back of slots like this, and until now it’s a market that Playtech simply haven’t been able to tap into.

Quickspin’s spokesperson also added that Dragon Chase would feature “multi-jurisdictional support” as well as all of the usual features that the games provide. They added that they were “super excited” to see how the game performed and were confident that it would be well received by their fans and by new players in all regulated markets.
