A Selection of Video Slots Updated by Lightning Box Games
Lightning Box Games has used an official press release to communicate that it has recently updated a selection of its older games to now be compliant with the mobile-friendly HTML5 markup language. This update came in advance of an impending launch in New Jersey and Canada.
A Doorway to Europe
In a press release published by European Gaming Media and Events, the Sydney-based company explained that it has updated a range of titles including Frogs ‘n’ Flies, Lost Temple, Serengeti Diamonds, and many more. These new versions will also hit European markets through a new subsidiary of Scientific Games Corporation, SG Digital.
Games for a New Generation
In the press release, Lightning Box Games offers additional background on the games, explaining that they were designed using Flash at the beginning of 2010 by the original company founders, David Little and Peter Causley. It is hoped that the update to the games means “the next generation of players” can enjoy classic titles such as Lost Temple, Angel’s Touch, Moon Temple, Chili Gold, and Diamond Tower.
“Quite a Reputation”
Causley is now the Managing Director at Lightning Box Games, after having worked as a games designer in the past for companies like Aristocrat Technologies Australia and International Game Technology (IGT). In a statement, he explained that the titles are often used by a host of clients such as Microgaming, Everi Holdings Incorporated, and Incredible Technologies Incorporated.
In his full statement he elaborated on the online slots:
“Our classic games have built up quite a reputation among players over the last decade or so and have quite rightly taken their place in the slots hall of fame. Players demand has seen them upgraded for the latest technologies on the most up-to-date devices and we are now able to put them in front of a new generation who are appreciating them afresh.”
