Bethard Group Limited and SBTech Agree Five-Year Extension
SBTech is an omni-channel online casino and sports betting innovator based in the UK. It recently took large steps onto the global arena after announcing a five-year extension to an existing sportsbook supply deal with Bethard Group Limited, a leading iGaming operator.
Additional growth to be achieved
In an official press release SBTech explained that the new deal empowers Bethard Group Limited to “drive further international expansion” and ensure that its reputation as “one of the leading Nordic and global betting brands” is secured.
SBTech explained that the arrangement is ideal for its partner, which is pursuing a “continued aggressive international expansion strategy.”
A sign of success
The Chief Commercial Officer for SBTech, Andrew Cochrane, went on record to explain that SBTech’s sportsbook solution – which comes equipped with a range of advanced features such as pre-match betting and advanced in-play betting – have empowered Bethard Group Limited to register “exceptional financial results” in a range of key markets. He believes that the contract extension is a “testament to the increasing value” of the partnership and acts as a symbol of the “high level of trust” which the two parties share.
In his full statement, Cochrane said:
“We work closely with our operators to grow their revenues and have a proven track record of delivering above-average market growth. Our goal is to always provide our customers with superior solutions that deliver standout value in the most competitive regulated territories and I anticipate even greater success for both companies as the latest chapter in the Bethard Group Limited story unfolds.”
A scorching hot summer
Erik Scarp is the Chief Executive Officer for Bethard and he explained that due to the energy surrounding the 2018 FIFA World Cup, this had been the firm’s “most successful” year on record. The operator also coordinated a football-themed prediction promotion based around Swedish footballing legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic. With a €200,000 ($226,470) prize pool the interest in the casino game helped to boost results even further.
Scarp explained in a full statement:
“Our partnership with SBTech has been a significant growth driver for the business across key markets and I’m delighted we have agreed a long-term extension in line with our rapid expansion into a host of new and emerging territories. Our continuing relationship with SBTech means the future is very bright indeed.”
