European licenses applied for by SkillOnNet
SkillOnNet Limited the online casino software developer, has revealed that it has made a formal application for licenses from Swedish and Portuguese authorities, hoping to be allowed to offer its casino games in both these countries from the start of 2019.
The organizer of boutique gaming events, European Gaming Media Events, announced that the Malta-based company has made an application in Sweden due to recently-passed legislation that will allow gambling in the Swedish market from the start of January.
As far as Portugal is concerned, the company said that the Iberian nation "has attracted the attention of a number of operators" and stating that if permission was given they would be providing a customized online casino "specifically for the up-and-coming Portuguese market" by the end of 2018.
SkillOnNet Ltd`s Head of Sales and Marketing said that the company`s innovative software was behind "some of the most popular brands in Europe" like PlayOJO.com and DrueckGlueck.co.uk. He went on to say that gaining Swedish and Portuguese licenses would permit the firm to expand further by being "active in as many regulated markets as possible." He also said: "We are lean and nimble, so completing the license paperwork for both Sweden and Portugal simultaneously was not a problem. We see both markets as having tremendous potential and look forward to working with the regulator in each obtain our permits."
