Microgaming Announced Several New Titles at ICE London
The recent ICE London has just finished and amongst the usual events and showcases was a very promising release from Microgaming. The world’s biggest and oldest casino software firm debuted a new title that was quick to impress: Village People: Macho Moves.
The Era of Disco
Microgaming are one of the best known innovators in the online casino industry and Village People: Macho Moves is another big step forward for them. They announced that this slot would have six reels and would be designed by Fortune Factory Studios, with the goal of taking players back to the 1970s and to the heyday of disco.
Village People: Macho Moves will be a mobile friendly slot that will be available to casinos across the industry later in the year. And as the name suggests, it will utilize the likenesses of all six members of the Village People, while also playing some of their biggest hits, such as the classics YMCA and Macho Man.
Disco may be dead, but with the help of Village People: Macho Moves it seems Microgaming are dead-set on bringing it back to life.
Sequel Frenzy
This event also saw Microgaming announce a new Jane Blonde slot. This classic spy-slot has been one of their most popular games for years, and at ICE London they organized a DJ set to announce the release of the next title in the series: Jane Blonde Returns. This long-awaited sequel will be developed in partnership with Stormcraft Studios, a South African-based company that has already made a name for themselves working alongside Microgaming.
More from Microgaming
There were more casino games on offer from Microgaming at an event that they would later describe as the world’s biggest stage for gambling content creators like themselves. The other titles they announced included the slot Shogun of Time, which was announced in combination with Just for the Win, a Swedish developer.
They also talked about a new Banana Odyssey title that Slingshot Studios were working on, as well as some interesting table games that will see their already expansive range grow considerably.
There was also some excitement for fans of Lara Croft and Tomb Raider, as Microgaming announced that there would be a new Lara Croft themed video slot released in combination with Triple Edge Studios.
