Yggdrasil Gaming Limited’s Italian presence continues to grow
Last month, Yggdrasil Gaming Limited used a supply deal with iGaming operator GVC Holdings to expand its presence in the Spanish iGaming sector. This leading developer of online casino is now set to expand its presence in Italy as well by signing a comparable agreement with Italian firm Lottomatica.
Swedish enterprise Cherry AB is the parent company of the Malta-based subsidiary Yggdrasil Gaming Limited, which first joined the Italian online gambling sector in May thanks to a supply arrangement for video slots with GVC Holdings brand Gioco Digitale. Several months have passed, and Yggdrasil Gaming Limited is now using an equivalent arrangement with Eurobet.it to grow further in Italy.
Yggdrasil Gaming Limited’s arrangement with Lottomatica is intended to provide the operator with access to Lottomatica’s full range of online video slots such as new offering Vikings Go Berzerk available on Lottomatica.it and Totosi.it. Moreover, as part of the arrangement, Lottomatica, a subsidiary of the London-based International Game Technology, will be able to use Yggdrasil Gaming Limited’s Boost in-game promotional suite.
High hopes for Italian market
Yggdrasil Gaming Limited’s Chief Executive Officer Fredrik Elmqvist has high hopes for the Italian market, stating, ‘Italy has quickly emerged as one of Europe’s most important iGaming markets and major operators like Lottomatica have played an important role in this process… This partnership enables us to build upon our strong growth in Italy and develop a long-lasting and fruitful relationship with Lottomatica.’
Since it received its first license in 2013, Yggdrasil Gaming Limited has grown in leaps and bounds. Over the last year alone it has secured 18 supply deals for online casino games with a variety of European operators. Also, it premiered its Game Server Masters program just last week and it is eager to welcome independent parties to help in the creation of innovative, fresh new games.
