Prepare your bets for the Semi Finals – Euro 2020 bets

    Author Osama Published Published 06/07-2021

Only three games remain of this year’s European football tournament. Three games that promise excitement, entertainment, and uncontrollable feelings. Four teams remain, and by the end of Wednesday evening, we will know what two teams the best two teams in Europe are. We will go through the two semi-finals awaiting us and try to guide you to the best bets and where to place them.

    Spain vs. Italy

The first semi-final will be played at Wembley stadium on Tuesday evening. Spain has participated in eleven European championships while Italy have participated in ten. Spain has been at four finals while Italy have only reached the final on three occasions. Spain has the highest passing accuracy of the tournament with 89.4% of their passes reaching the right player. It can be argued though that they play slightly too passively at times and too horizontal instead of going more directly towards the goal.

The Italian team has the most goal attempts of the tournament with a staggering 101 attempts, they have scored 11 times which together with Denmark makes them the second most scoring team after Spain (12 Goals). Italy also has a strong defence and have kept 3 clean sheets. Though Italy’s defence comes slightly weakened with Spinazzola’s Achilles tendon injury leaving him out of the pitch for the coming 6-7 months.

It is hard to guess the outcome of this game as it can go either way, both teams have their strengths and weaknesses, and both have the drive and the individual players to make a difference. We at FindFairCasinos believe that Spain might be underrated by the bookmakers as they have been growing this tournament and we would therefore put our money on a win for Spain.

    Odds. Italy (2.4), draw (3.2), Spain (3.1)

    England vs. Denmark

Who would’ve thought when the tournament started, and Denmark lost their best player and the two following games that this team would be the team to in the semi-final? Denmark’s way to the final has been unlike any other teams, and it has seen many players who might have been undervalued, overperform (Damsgaard, Dolberg and Maehle being the perfect examples of players that are on fire!). Denmark has participated in nine European Championship and won the tournament once before (in 1992, their first ever major title). England on the other hand have participated 10 times finishing as third as their best position.

England have been wanting to get football home for a long time, and now finally it is coming home in the shape of semi-finals and finals being played at Wembley. It is no secret that England have home field advantage with Corona-rules making it hard for visiting fans to get into the country. England have managed to keep 5 clean sheets the most of any team in the tournament. They have also managed to score 8 goals.

For the bookmakers it seems like this game is an easy one to call, but bookmakers put the odds based on statistics and sometimes football is more than that. The Danes have a fairy tale to finish, a final for their teammate and friend who isn’t there with them on the field, and lesser things than this have carried teams to victory before. We at FindFairCasinos would put our bet on a draw, with faith and luck deciding the outcome of that.

    Odds. England (1.68), draw (3.6), Denmark (5.5)
