It’s Halloween again, which means it’s time for pumpkins, witches, broomsticks, and lots of skeletons. It’s a season that most iGaming developers look forward to and one that Yggdrasil Gaming has made the central theme of its new spooky title Blood Moon Wilds.
This is a 5x3 video slot with lots of creep, spooky symbols celebrating the season. Players are tasked with searching for treasure in an environment filled with werewolves and other creatures of the night.
This Yggdrasil Gaming slot features high variance and takes place in late 19th century New Orleans, with lots of unique features and chances to win big.
What to Expect
The main feature on Blood Moon Wilds is a lunar dial, which sits above the game screen at all times and displays the phases of the moon. This dial turns with every spin and if it lands on a full moon then all the main Villager symbols in the game will transform into Werewolf Wilds.
If three Scatter symbols appear then the full moon will be replaced by a blood moon and a number of Free Spins will be triggered. If the full moon appears during this feature and the Villager symbols turn wild, then they will remain Wild for the rest of the round.
Blood Moon Wilds has a Return-to-Player average of 96.2% and was discussed by the developers in a recent press release. They stated that they were “thrilled” to be releasing this title in time for Halloween, also known as Day of the Dead. They added that they were confident it would be a big success and would be well received by players all over the world.
Joining the Inferno
Blood Moon Wilds will be available across all brands of GVC in time for Halloween. This title follows another spooky release by the same developer, Lilith’s Inferno. This was launched via the Yggdrasil Game Studio Masters program, where it was developed in partnership with AvatarUX Studios.
The Hong Kong based AvatarUX became the fourth studio to join this program back in February 2019 and this is the third game released as part of the program, with many more to follow in 2020 and beyond.
