NetEnt launches new video slot game ‘Jumanji’
In January, NetEnt signed a new licensing agreement with Sony Pictures Entertainment. Following this agreement, popular online casino games developer NetEnt has launched a new five-reel, 36-payline video slot called ‘Jumanji’.
According to NetEnt, the slot takes its inspiration from the 1995 fantasy adventure film Jumanji. It offers four random bonuses and four unique free spins, alongside extra dice rolls, coin wins and a ‘mystery’ feature.
According to the Stockholm-based firm, their new branded game has a traditional board game layout, and provides a video slot that greatly entertains, with dramatic monsoons, sticky vines, wild monkeys and rhino stampedes.
According to the developer, the ‘Wild Stampede’ scene injects up to nine wild symbols into the reels, and the ‘Monkey Mayhem’ feature triggers some guaranteed wins for online casino fans. Further, through the ‘Monsoon Wilds’ feature, lucky players can turn up to two full reels wild, whilst bagging a ‘Sticky Vines’ bonus will store all of a gamer’s wild and winning icons, and re-spin those which remain.
According to the NetEnt Chief Product Officer Henrik Fagerlund, the movie of the same name was popular the world over, and the firm have enjoyed making a slot game that is true to the most exciting parts the film. He said that they had worked hard to find a way to combine the thrill of the film with a classic board game format, and that the end result was already proving popular with their players.
