Players in Norway Can Now Access NetEnt AB Content
NetEnt AB is a Swedish online casino games and solution developer. In a recent announcement the company revealed that some of its portfolio is now available to Norwegian players. This is because a previously-signed integration deal with Norsk Tipping AS was completed.
Completing the 2017 Arrangement
In its press release the Swedish developer revealed that early last year it won a competitive tender process hosted by the Norwegian state lottery. The winning of this tender process means that the Swedish developer can supply its services and products to the Norwegian operator. This will be done via the IGT Connect platform that is headquartered in London’s International Game Technology (IGT).
The latest in a series of projects
NetEnt entered the nascent New Jersey iGaming market back in July, its entry point being a deal with the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Atlantic City there. The Stockholm-based developer announced that this process has been finalized and will give players in Norway the opportunity to enjoy select offerings from its range of “world-leading games”.
NetEnt released the first titles from the Max mixed volatility product line through the Berryburst and Berryburst max video slots just over two weeks ago. The company also states that Norsk Tipping AS is an influential partner given that it is a member of the World Lottery Association (WLA) which brings together the most influential state-authorized lotteries on the planet.
Exciting times ahead for the innovator
Therese Hillman acts as the Chief Executive Officer at NetEnt. Recently installed in the role, the CEO explained that she was “very excited” to see the deal be cemented and for NetEnt games to be offered by Norsk Tipping AS. She paid particular attention to the prominence and reliability of the brand’s name in Norway and explained that it will be very important as her firm elaborates on its expansion plans “within the strategic WLA segment.”
