Scudamore’s Super Stakes Title Set to be Released by NetEnt AB
NetEnt AB, a Swedish developer of online casino games, released two video slots last week, Wild Bazaar and Halloween Jack, but has revealed it has yet another new game up its sleeve. In partnership with Peter Scudamore, the celebrated British jockey, NetEnt AB will be releasing the horse racing-themed Scudamore’s Super Stakes video slot.
In a press release delivered on Friday, the Swedish company announced its plans to release Scudamore’s Super Stakes early in 2019. The game will feature the best of horse racing, including the voice and image of Peter Scudamore himself.
The release of Scudamore’s Super Stakes will mark NetEnt AB’s first foray into sports-themed games. In the new video slot, players will enjoy the thrill of the key horse-racing meets in the National Hunt calendar, including, of course, the Cheltenham Festival and the Grand National.
The Scudamore factor
NetEnt AB’s Game Products Director Bryan Upton has hailed Scudamore as the “perfect personality” to partner with for the company’s very first sports-based title with Scudamore being “one of the most revered jockeys and horseracing personalities of all time.”
According to Upton, Scudamore’s Super Stakes “is a landmark product for NetEnt AB and we are sure, slot machine players and racing fans will be thrilled with the results when the game launches next year.”
A true champion
Peter Scudamore had a professional horse-racing career that spanned 15 years. He won 8 Champion Jockey titles and recorded an astonishing 1,678 race wins. The champion rider retired in 1993 and has since become a leading expert in the sport and a sought-after trainer.
For his part, Scudamore is thrilled to inject the wonderful sport of horse racing into NetEnt AB’s games portfolio, stating, “From our first conversation, NetEnt AB’s commitment to innovation and passion for creating fantastic products was clear. I am delighted we are joining forces to launch a new slot game that will capture the unbeatable and exhilarating racing experience.”
